Dr. Xiaolei Yin is an instructor in medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Yin received his Ph.D. in Cell Biology from Peking University in Beijing, China, and performed Postdoctoral research at both the Langer Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Karp Lab at Harvard Medical School and Brigham & Women’s Hospital, advised by Dr. Langer and Dr. Karp. During his postdoctoral research, he developed the first pure intestinal stem cell culture platform using small molecules. Dr. Yin has published more than a dozen peer-reviewed papers, and played an instrumental role in the development of the Frequency platform for treatment of hearing loss.
