Christina Runge, PhD, CCC-A

Medical College of Wisconsin

Dr. Runge is a Professor of Otolaryngology and Communication Sciences at the Medical College of Wisconsin and Director of the Koss Cochlear Implant Program. She is a nationally certified and state-licensed audiologist with extensive training in hearing disorders and cochlear implants in both adults and children.

Also a researcher, Dr. Runge studies genetics of hearing loss, personal sound amplification devices, gene therapy for hearing restoration, auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder, and cochlear implant sound processing. She has published manuscripts and book chapters in these areas and has presented research findings at many international and national conferences in cochlear implants and hearing disorders.

She received her M.A. and Ph.D. in audiology and auditory neurophysiology from the University of Iowa.
